Science or History

During orientation, students learn to navigate their dashboard, meet their teachers and advisor, connect with classmates, and understand high school expectations. Advisors check in more frequently during the first month.

Can students switch pathways after starting?

Absolutely. Pathways are designed to be exploratory in Grade 9. Students can switch pathways at the semester break with advisor approval. Many students use their first year to sample courses from multiple pathways before committing to a focused track in Grade 10.

What technology does my child need?

Students need a reliable computer with a webcam, microphone, and high-speed internet connection. We provide all learning management software, digital textbooks, and virtual lab access at no additional cost.

How much parent involvement is required?
